Since 2019, KAURI watches offers limited editions of Swiss automatic watches made out of some of the world’s most exclusive materials.

The particularity of this Geneva-based brand is the innovative watch case design combining steel with some of the world’s rarest and most precious woods. Each material is thoroughly chosen and the artisanal work that is put into each watch by the brand’s founder makes the KAURI watches truly unique. Each owner of a KAURI watch can proudly tell the story of the wood type that his/her bespoke watch is made out of.

It all started with an idea that came out of Samuel Gillioz watchmaker’s mind. An idea which he believed in so hard that he decided to leave his position in the oldest Swiss watchmaking company to found his own. Add to this some travels around the world to find the most exclusive wood species such as the Kauri wood, a thousand-year-old wood, or Ebony made in Switzerland, and you get the KAURI Watches as a result.
